Bookmarklets are tiny JavaScript programs disguised as bookmarks that live in your browser's bookmarks bar and run scripts on whatever webpage you're viewing with just one click.
We will treat the browser's bookmarks bar as an instrument, with many tiny programs as our little strings. It is a way to inject code or functionality onto any webpage (temporarily), influencing its behavior, structure, and content.
